Special Thematic Sessions (STS)
We invite experts to organise Special Thematic Sessions (STS) for Science, Research and Engineering contributions.This ensures a comprehensive and focussed discussing and very particular domains.

I. Science, Research and Engineering Contributions [up]
- Scientific papers will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee for presentation at the conference and for publication.
- Scientific Contributions accepted for publication and presented at the conference are invited to submit an elaborated and extended version of their work to a Special Issue of the AAATE Journal “Technology & Disability dedicated to ICCHP-AAATE contributions. Details will be published asap on the ICCHP-AAATE web page and on the Journal page.
Publication Options
- Springer Science, Research and Engineering Proceedings (Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series - LNCS)
- Open Access Compendium “Advancements in Assistive Technology, Accessibility and Inclusion” (DOI referenced)
PLEASE NOTE:These two options have different target readers and deadlines for the submission of abstracts and full papers. - The Book of Abstracts collects descriptions and abstracts of all contributions to the conference. It will provide a comprehensive guide through the program, an overview to the activities in the field and an efficient means for dissemination and information.
- ICCHP-AAATE will also consider Presentation Only Contributions ("no publication"). Please get in touch with the conference organisers or session chairs well in advance with a short outline of your presentation in case you consider this option!

II. Inclusion Forum Contributions [up]
Inclusion Forum Contributions comprise contributions in different formats which will be reviewed and selected by the Program Committee:
- Workshops, seminars, tutorials/educational sessions with you as facilitator/conductor/trainer
- Policy Sessions with panel discussions and/or consensus building sessions guided by yourself and your colleagues
- Posters, project, product and service exhibitions, presentations and demonstrations
- Meetings in open or closed (invited only) format
Publication Options
- The Book of Abstracts collects descriptions and abstracts of all contributions to the conference. It will provide a comprehensive guide through the program, an overview to the activities in the field and an efficient means for dissemination and information.
- ICCHP-AAATE will also consider Presentation Only Contributions ("no publication"). Please get in touch with the conference organisers well in advance with a short outline of your presentation in case you consider this option!

III. Young Researchers' Consortium Contributions [up]
Young Researchers’ Consortium Contributions are peer reviewed by our Young Researchers Committee.
Publication Options
- Before the official deadlines, Young researchers are encouraged to submit a paper for publication in LNCS or in our Open Access Compendium.
- The Book of Abstracts collects descriptions and abstracts of all contributions to the conference. It will provide a comprehensive guide through the program, an overview to the activities in the field and an efficient means for dissemination and information.

IV. Awards [up]
Also in 2022, ICCHP and AAATE accept nominations of outstanding institutions, groups and individuals in the area of Accessibility and Assistive Technologies for the ICCHP and AAATE awards 2022.
